#105 She-Knits asks what's new?

What are you knitting right now? Take a look at it...what drew you to it?
Was it the shape was more modern?
Was it just that the yarn had this pattern with it?
Did you like the particular stitch pattern?
Is it because its a sock...and if its a new sock you are definitely going to knit it.
Really think about it...what drew you to it. I would love to hear
Have you signed up for She-Knits Mystery #7, Cynthia?
Were you 'blizzarded"?
Stay safe and warm~~

I listened to your podcast for the very first time tonight - sorry I've missed it for so long! An old episode of Knitmore Girls (from 2009, I think) recommended your show, if you are curious. :)

At the moment, I'm knitting leg/arm warmers for my sweet and adorable little cousins. "Rainbow" is not my typical color palette so it's fun - and after a few months of wrestling with DPN's, I still feel like I'm practicing...so it's a good balance. No pattern - just a little ribbing and lots of stockinette stitching. Cute + simple + little girls = all the inspiration I need.

I'll be subscribing as soon as I'm at my real computer (vs. the iPad) so keep up the good work, please!

...and hooray for introverts!

Cheers -

Amy

I'm crocheting the Chloe Cardigan by Doris Chan from the Interweave Crochet Spring 2010. I'm making it because it is just so 'me'. I love 3/4 sleeves, and I'm tall so by adding a bit onto the length this style of cardi looks good on a frame like mine. I'm not sure if it is a modern shape at all, but I like it and that pretty much does it for me. I make what I know will suit me, and things I can mix and match with my wardrobe.

And I'm safe from the blizzards and cold, way down here in South Australia :-D It's a lovely 31ÂșC here today. Not to rub it in or anything....

Just wanted to sign in and tell you that I'm one of your silent fans. My computer "free time" is very limited, but Ii always take the time to download my favorite podcasts (including yours)to take with me all day and often all night.

I'm knitting another hat for my newest grandson.

Now back to work before the market opens!

Just finished the Spring Thaw shawl (beaded) and signed up for the Cynthia KAL. Hooray! My first KAL and I love the mystery idea. The name isn't bad either (haha). I'm currently working on the Cloud Chaser vest and the Medallion socks. Always have a pair of socks on the needles. Then there is the Verde cardigan that is in time out...
