If you like to look at

knitting blogs....
and you like to look around Ravelry.....
and you like to keep up your own blog and write coments in other people's blogs and talk in the Forum (especially the Sheknits Circle)
how do you EVER have any time to knit......I'm serious

I would also add how do you have time to knit if you get involved in Ravelry drama/controversy where you don't even have a dog in that fight? That would be Texan for getting involved in a controversy in which you have no vested interest.

I only post to my blog M, W, and F. I try to keep up with my Bloglines every day, because if I let it go longer, then I have over 50 blogs to read. Still, it eats up a lot of time, but I truly enjoy it. I think that is key. If you don't enjoy reading other blogs and updating your own, you shouldn't.

Thanks for bringing that up.. I thought it was only me.. Ravelry can be like the rabbit hole for sure.. I love it but I need to figure out how I can do both.

I try not to be on the computer to long and besides we have only one in the house and the kids like to have a turn. So I get to knit when they want a turn.

Simple. I sit with the laptop on my lap reading blogs and ravelry. Have podcasts going on in the background. And have knitting in my hands.

But - this week I'm working on a top secret project for a podcaster that will keep me away from knitting a little but - it's VERY worth it!!
