#33 Your Knitting Circle

1. Do you feel like you are part of a knitting circle here with Sharon and other She-Knits listeners?

I am going to change my schedule for now to podcasting the 2nd and 4th of the month instead of every week. So next cast will be Jan. 9 or 10th. I hope I am not letting anyone down. I want to continue to record regularly however the every week gig wasn't feeling pleasureful it was feeling pressure filled. I hope you all understand and stick around. I know you all want me to have fun with it...right?

I still plan to check our and write in the She-Knits Podcast group daily. Feel free to start your own topics in there and please post your FO's and thoughts!

Check Friday nights or Saturday morning for the Whatchaknitting Saturday thread. That is a great fun part of our Knitting Circle.

1. If you have a ladies sz. 6.5 foot, is it better to knit the largest size of the children's pattern of the Fiber Trends felted clog if you found the adult small to be a bit big?
2. Do you actively use your fingertips to manipulate your knitting needles?
3. What is a good non-wool that has the beautiful coloring of Manos for those of us that can't wear wool? Anyone want to do a KAL with the 101 Designers One Skein Wonders Cross Stitch Scarf......just a quickie?? E-mail me or look for the thread in the She-Knits podcast group on Ravelry entitled Quickie KAL Cross Stitch Scarf from 101 Designers One Skein Wonders.
4. Do you have a 7th grader and does 7th grade seem like a hard year over all in school?
5. Who decides what fashions are in- movie stars..is it celebrity driven?

#31 So now what?

Since my podcast is so personal, I have decided to combine my personal blog with my podcast blog. I had almost entirely stopped blogging as it seemed that I was saying everything I wanted to say on the podcast and included the information I wanted to include on the podcast shownotes.

I am working on writing the pattern for the Carie Bag. My SheKnitsforKnitters.com shop is going to have exclusive patterns my Etsy shop won't have, there is one on there now...was that a good teaser?? The Carie Bag will be listed there also...probably by next weeks end.

I am still unsuccessful with the Sirdar Coat whilst everyone else (almost) on that KAL) has finished!

Out of my funk has come the inspiration to finally knit the Fiber Trend Clogs..now I can talk about it on the She-Knits Podcast group Fiber Trends clog KAL thread YAYYY!!!!

I still am anticipating WICKED and if you would like, come join that KAL on Ravelry in the She-Knits Podcast group entitled Wicked Anticipation. We will be doing it towards the end of January. I think I can , I think I can , I think I can.....

Knitting Daily has the re-vamped Central Park Hoodie pattern for sale.

GO see IlgaLeja's Opera Season lace shawls and tank...they are gorgey!

Visit the She-Knits KAL for bag inspiration

visit the Holiday KAL-CAL for fast project inspiration.

Let me here about what is inspiring you...maybe you will inspire me. Let me know what your favorite knitting magazines other then IK.

#30 Rejection sucks.

Knitty rejected my Toothpick Optional design- so whatdoyathink---....-----.....------

It is for sale as a pattern or kit at my new shop
Sheknits for Knitters.com! If you buy a kit make sure to tell me if you need a hard copy of the pattern instead of a pdf.

If the Sheknitsforknitters.com site is mis-behaving, spank it and go instead to
my Sheknits for Knitters Etsy site please.....or not.

I sold 2 of these patterns so far, one of which sold right after I posted it ...and the rejection began to dissipate!Yayyyy!

- but I still love Knitty- my fav. for this issue is Stardust

I finished the bag below for JG and she loves it. Yayyy!

I finished this Caroline Bag for JB and she is picking it up tomorrow and I know she is going to love it Yayyyyy! The first one in gray is for JB the second one is from my student from my very first felted handbag class...it is a stunning bag she did a fantastic job...the third one is the traditional Caroline and is for sale at a local boutique
